Effectiveness of Hybrid Fibers on the Fracture and Shear Behavior of Prestressed Concrete Beams

چکیده
This study investigates the effectiveness of hybrid fibers (steel and macro-synthetic) on shear behavior prestressed concrete beams. The fiber combination was selected to avoid workability issues at high volume dosages ensure effective crack arresting over opening range. Fracture studies included testing notched prisms identify role in bridging mechanism. Seven reinforced (HFRPC) beams were tested a low span (a) depth (d) ratio 2.4. effects load–deflection strain strand are reported.
